LINCOLN University recently participated in the four-day Petaling Jaya Learning City Celebration 2025, held from 19 to 22 June.

Representing the university were the School of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing and Allied Sciences, School of Education, and the School of Building and Built Environment.

In addition to showcasing its academic programs, Lincoln University’s lecturers engaged attendees with interactive activities such as the VAK Learning Styles Quiz, Stroop Test, Instagram Photo Booth, Board Games, and Hanoi Tower Challenge.

Students from various schools across the Klang Valley participated enthusiastically, exchanging creative ideas and sharing their passion for learning.

Nurul Aini Abdullah, a lecturer from the School of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities, highlighted the event’s significance in introducing pre-university students to Lincoln’s diverse programs.

“This was a fantastic opportunity to inspire students to pursue further studies and explore their future career paths. The day was filled with motivation, fun, and meaningful connections,” she said.

Meanwhile, Amanina Emir Hisham, a lecturer from the School of Education, shared insights on academic pathways after SPM.

“Our session focused on guiding students on their next steps after Form Five, helping them make informed decisions about their future,” she explained.

Organized in conjunction with Petaling Jaya City’s 19th Anniversary, the celebration reinforced PJ’s reputation as a vibrant, knowledge-driven community.

Held at MBPJ Civic Hall and other key locations, the four-day festival offered a wide range of educational and entertaining programs, fostering a spirit of lifelong learning among attendees.
