ON November 24, 2025, a group of students from Bachelor in Arts of Mass Communication, School of Social Science, Arts & Humanities, Lincoln University College (LUC) participated in an enriching Parliament Induction Tour at the Parliament of Malaysia. The visit was part of the Social Science, Arts & Humanities continuing effort to enhance students’ understanding of Malaysia’s political system, governance structure, and democratic processes.

The purpose of the visit is to provide students with first-hand exposure to the legislative environment and also to strengthen civic awareness and appreciation of parliamentary democracy. Apart from that, students explored the Malaysian Parliament’s gallery, learning about Malaysia’s political milestones, former leaders, and significant event that shaped the nation.

At the end the trip, the participants expressed that the visit was eye-opening and deepened their appreciation for Malaysia’s democratic system. Lincoln University College, especially School of Social Science, Arts & Humanities extends heartfelt appreciation to the Parliament of Malaysia for hosting the induction tour and providing a meaningful educational experience.
