THE School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at Lincoln University College (LUC) successfully hosted its two-day academic event, “Perspectives in Practice: Communication, Mind & Society,” featuring a comprehensive series of mass presentations by students from the Mass Communication, Psychology, and Social Work programme.
The Auditorium Hall, Wisma Lincoln came alive on September 24–25, 2025, as students, lecturers, and academic observers gathered for an inspiring showcase of applied knowledge, research discoveries, and real-world insights.
Presentations highlighted key areas in communication, human behaviour, and social development, demonstrating the school’s interdisciplinary expertise and its commitment to nurturing innovative thinking and practical solutions.

A highlight of the event was the Best Presenter Award, where the top five outstanding students were recognised for excellence in delivery, content, and critical reflection. Tokens of appreciation were personally presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shahnaz Sheibani, Head of the Psychology Department, acknowledging the students’ dedication and academic growth.
Faculty members praised the initiative for reinforcing LUC’s commitment to experiential learning, public speaking competence, and collaborative academic culture. Participants responded positively, noting that the event provided valuable exposure to diverse perspectives within the social sciences.
The successful two day programme reflects LUC’s continued efforts to nurture confident, research-driven graduates ready to contribute effectively to society.
