ON November 13, 2025, the School of Social Science, Arts & Humanities, successfully conducted a Workplace Stress Management Training focused on Workplace Resilience and Mental Wellness. A total of 100 participants from various departments from Destini Berhad Shah Alam attended the session, demonstrating strong commitment to prioritising mental well-being and fostering a supportive work culture.

This programme aimed to raise awareness about stress triggers, equip employees with practical coping strategies, and strengthen personal as well as organisational resilience.

During this session, participants has learned about mental and physical impacts of workplace stress, including how stress affects decision-making and performance. There are number of interactive activities done by Dr. Sajana Jayasanka (training consultant) which guided staff through practical ways to bounce back from setbacks and maintain a positive mindset. Besides that, effective relaxation strategies were introduced to help employees manage daily stress more effectively.

Based on the testimonial given by participants, the session was eye-opening especially the real-life examples, hands-on activities, and easy-to-apply techniques. Participants appreciated the focus on sustainable mental wellness practices that can be implemented both at work and at home.
