The visit was part of the Social Science, Arts &amp; Humanities continuing effort to enhance students\u2019 understanding of Malaysia\u2019s political system, governance structure, and democratic processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of the visit is to provide students with first-hand exposure to the legislative environment and also to strengthen civic awareness and appreciation of parliamentary democracy. Apart from that, students explored the Malaysian Parliament\u2019s gallery, learning about Malaysia\u2019s political milestones, former leaders, and significant event that shaped the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end the trip, the participants expressed that the visit was eye-opening and deepened their appreciation for Malaysia\u2019s democratic system.
